Well she did it
How worried does she look lol. I thought she was going to make a run for it.
First cut. No turning back now
She's a lot braver than me and I think she looks pretty good. Well done Tess.

My how time flies cant believe it's been this long since I've visited my blog. Life just gets in the way lol. Firstly this little guy turned two on the 12th of February.
Not the 17th (isn't that right Jen lol). This is my nephew Darcy. I really wished I lived closer to them and could see them more often.
Well nothing interesting has really happened just back into the normal after Christmas holidays routine. Tess' dancing is back in full swing, more full on than last year if that's possible. Lot's and lots of rehearsals in preparation for the May eisteddfod.
We have had Greg Miller take our dancing photo's for years. Actually most of the dancing school's on the Sunshine Coast use him. Love his photo's except the colour of his backgrounds make scrapping her dancing photo's a little bit difficult so I changed this one to black and white.
My scrapping mojo has returned I hadn't scrapped in months and have finally scrapped five layouts in two weeks lol. I will put them on here later this week. I'm still doing my photo a day although February wasn't the best but I've been very diligent with March so far. Problem is I have to scrap them in my diary. I've almost finished January lol. Another challenge I've given myself is I want to finish (and start) my holiday album from our trip to Alice Springs in 2007 before we go to Alice Springs this year June long weekend. I have done a mini album but want to do a more indepth album. Will I get it done.
On Tuesday we went to Tess' house to get our hair done. I had promised Lucy that she could get streaks in her hair. It turned out lovely.
Tess dyed her hair and it didn't quite work out. I told her not to but she does her own thing and never listens. She is 15 need I say more. So it was Katie to the rescue I must admit It's better than what it was, at least it's not orange lol it also has a dark bit at the back.
My friend Tess is participating in the Leukaemia Foundation's World's greatest shave if you want to sponsor her you can go Here
Stay tuned for the after shots. Tess is doing it for our dear friend Heather who passed away last year. We miss her every day.
In other news our house guest Matt left us I must admit it felt strange not having him around or having the caravan in the back yard. He has since gotten a job and is living at Lowood but comes to visit every couple of weekends.
Last weekend we had dinner at Cottontree. It was a lovely evening.
How hard was it to get a nice photo of the three of them, almost impossible lol
Has anyone been watching the cricket as I no longer have pay tv I have been listening to the ABC radio. Hasn't it been fantastic. Love it. Football season starts next week, cant wait. Go the Roosters.
Bye for now
Jackie
Well the day has finally come. Lucy is in high school. She was so excited she woke up at 5.30 and was fully dressed fifteen minutes later. I hope her enthusiasm lasts.
It wasn't until I loaded the photo's onto the computer that I realised I didn't get a decent photo of Lucy on her own. Tess came out and wanted her photo taken with them and I got sidetracked. Will have to try this afternoon lol.
Here's Lucy and Hannah they have known each other since they were about 3 years old.
Tess and I had to laugh that Lucy is nearly as tall as Tess.
Tess let me down badly she was suposed to take a photo of Izzy and send it to me so I could post it here. She was too busy having a good time and only sent me one which wasnt the best lol.
Anyway have a fantatic day Izz.
Tony reached the big 42, mind you he had to ask me how old he was lol.
We had a fantastic night. Lucy and I wanted to go to The Grinning Dog, Maroochydore for dinner but we ended up going to Trader Dukes. I had never been there before , what a great pub, very family orientated. They had a girl signing and she was fantastic. Not only could she sing but she was a real entertainer, we had an absolute ball. At one stage Linda, Kim and I played percussion with her. lol
How yummy does this look and it was delicious , a little too much sauce on the fish perhaps but other than that very nice.
We finished the night up at Sonja's (she couldn't join us as she is in hospital) for cake and a cuppa. Hope you had a great day Tony.
This year it was Tess' turn to go to grandma and grandpa's place in Wagga. Usually the girls go for a few weeks but due to ballet summer school Tess was only able to go for a week. Last Saturday (17.1.09) she flew from Brisbane to Canberra where she met Jen and David then they drive to Wagga. If she flew direct from the Sunshine Coast to Wagga it's either via Sydney or Melbourne and I don't think she needed the stress of changing planes. Next trip she will be 17 so she should be able to manage that then lol. She has been looking forward to this holiday for so long.
She is coming home tomorrow.
Here we are it's nearly the end of January, school starts next week not that I've been counting down the days lol. We had a great Christmas, new year so I will just share some photo's.
We celebrated Christmas eve at Sonja's not our usual large dinner but a lovely evening just the same.
Christmas was spent at Kim and Michael's place. Kim did an amazing lunch , the food was beautiful.
The kids did extremely well this christmas, phone's , Mp3's and lots of other goodies. Tony scored a HD television and I got the much wanted butcher's block.
On the 27th Tony took the kids out to Kenilworth Homestead joined them a few days later but I had (and needed) a couple of days home alone. This was a fantastic place to camp. It has very basic amenities although there were a few cabins which I believe were really nice. Great swimming holes and you are only a couple of km's out of Kenilworth. The best thing we were only 20 minutes from home.
We really had a fantastic time. We caught up with Brad and Gina who I hadn't seen for about 12 years and they only live an hour and a half away.
That's our Christmas we are slowly settling into normal routine again.
